At our cattery, we understand the importance of providing the best care for your kitten. We recommend the following resources to ensure your kitten has a safe and happy life:

1. Toys: Stimulating toys such as scratching posts, cat tunnels, and interactive toys can help keep your kitten entertained and mentally healthy.

2. Litter: Look for a litter that is natural (pine/wood pellets are our fave) and has a low dust content to ensure a clean and safe environment.

3. Food: A nutritionally balanced diet is essential for your kitten's growth and development.

4. Brushing: Regular brushing can help reduce shedding and distribute natural oils throughout the coat.

5. Overall Maintenance: Regular visits to the vet are important for preventative care.

6. Introductions: Introduce your kitten to other pets slowly and with supervision to help them adjust to their new environment.

Cat Laser

Cats love laser toys! The mental stimulation of chasing a light helps keep them mentally healthy and active. This playtime also helps satisfy their primal instinct to chase, providing them with both physical and mental exercise. Laser toys also provide cats with an opportunity to express their natural predatory behavior in a safe and controllable way.

Hooded Litter Box

We recommend a hooded litter box which gives cats the privacy they desire while using the bathroom. We also love pine pellet litter which is natural, soft, absorbent, and odor-neutralizing, making it the perfect choice for a litter box. The pine pellets are easy to clean and have minimal tracking, keeping your home clean and your cat happy.

Mother Cat and Baby Royal Canin

For the first year of life we recommend Mother and Babycat Royal Canin Kitten Food. This food is specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of kittens up to 12 months old. It contains essential nutrients to help build strong bones and muscles, and also helps promote healthy skin and coat. It is also formulated with high-quality proteins and prebiotics to support digestive health.

Brushing

Brushing your kitten or cat is an important part of their health and wellbeing. It helps keep their coat and skin healthy, removes dead fur, and reduces shedding. Regular brushing also helps establish a bond between you and your pet! We recommend using a soft-bristled brush and brushing your cat or kitten at least once a week. Make sure to move slowly and gently, and make it a pleasant experience for your pet.
